During exterior retexturing, the professional will power-wash the home, apply a new stucco base coat, and then apply the finish. Inside, retexturing walls involves removing any existing texture, repairing the drywall as needed, and applying compound, spray, stipple, or velvet texture. After it dries, the wall can be primed and painted.
